The letter in the purple, central cell. Every word you submit must include this letter.
Ranks
The titles you earn as you score more points, such as Newbie, Solid, and Mastery. Your rank is a measure of your progress in the day's puzzle.
Keeper
The ultimate status for 100% completion. While Mastery is the highest rank on the points ladder, Keeper signifies that you have found every single word in the puzzle and earned the maximum possible score. The name is a small homage to “Finders Keepers,” celebrating those who truly find it all.
Pangram
A word that uses all seven of the letters in the current puzzle at least once. Finding a pangram earns a 7-point bonus on top of the word's length score.
Perfect Pangram
A special type of pangram that is exactly 7 letters long, meaning it uses each available letter only once.
Pangram First
An achievement for finding a pangram as the very first word of the day.
Long Word
An achievement for finding a word that is 10 or more letters long.
Aha!
A major achievement awarded when you have found at least one word that starts with every one of the 7 available puzzle letters.
